Eight Bacolodnon karatedo athletes advance to nationals

Following the 2019 Batang Pinoy Visayas qualifying leg karatedo competition, which took place last week at SM City Iloilo, eight ASK Franco Ryu athletes of the Bacolod City team qualified to compete in the upcoming Batang Pinoy national finals.

Moving on in the competition include gold medalists Chris Cholo Nicoli B. Salcedo, Joy A. Tubongbanua, and Zyrhon M. Vallejera; silver medalist Glayden Jhon D. Gregorio; and bronze medalists Margueritte Therese A. Cala-or, Shanzel M. Vallejera, Bryce TJ G. Mendones, and Hannah F. Damasco.

The national finals are scheduled for October./WDJ
