The Che’Lu Bar and Grill Revellers depended on fourth quarter action by Jeff Viernes to score a 96-94 win over the Petron-Letran Knights in the 2019 PBA D-League last Thursday night at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Viernes, who scored eight out of his total 18 points, allowed the Revellers to surge to a 95-92 lead following a free throw by Chris Dumapig. The Knights, however, made its last push and found themselves lagging 95-94 on an inside hit by Jeo Ambohot.

Viernes split free throws and pushed the Revellers to a 96-94 lead with 2.7 seconds left before the Knights’ Jerrick Balanza missed a game-winning attempt at the buzzer.

Sean Manganti top-scored for the Revellers with 24 points and nine rebounds, while rookie Rey Suerte scored 15 points and three boards./ASC, WDJ
