10 Bacolod City radio personalities recognized

The 4th Tingog kag Handurawan Awards were held earlier this week at the SMX Convention Center at SM City Bacolod. The event was part of the city’s World Radio Day observance, which initially took place on February 13.
Among this year’s winners included RMN- DYHB personalities Winston Temblor for Best Male Drama Artist, Caroline Diama for Best Female Drama Artist, Serge Santillan – Anchorman of the Year, Liza Jane Andrada – Most Admired Personality in Drama Production, Rocky Gumban – Behind the Scene (Office Administration Category), and Jeony Bigay – Most Admired Personality in Management.
In addition, DYEZ Aksyon Radyo was recognized with Wilma Sugaton named Best Radio Show Host, Marlon Genovea – Reporter of the Year, and Renato Duran – Icon of Radio.
Meanwhile, Jose Maria Magalona of DYVS Voice of Salvation was named Most Admired Personality in Broadcast Engineering.
DYEZ Aksyon Radyo also won Best Radio Drama with “This is My Life.”
During the event, the Negros Occidental chapter of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas administered the oath of office for incoming officers.
The new officers included Fr. Jonas Sumagaysay as chairman; Paul Moles as vice chairman; Grace Visitacion – secretary; Nona Magbanua – treasurer; Loel Katalbas – auditor; Serafin Plotria, Jr., Jose Francisco Muñoz, and Edgar Lucasan – standard performance officers; Clifford Nolido, Divine Grace Cuello, Mary Ann Flores, Jerry Mayordo, Jeony Bigay, and Ferdinand Tan – board of directors; Joy Pastoral – executive secretary; and Roberto Pabulayan – marketing officer./WDJ
