Five minors were apprehended yesterday morning by officers from Police Station 8 after they were caught allegedly stealing scrap metal from a local resident at Purok Villa in Bacolod City’s Barangay Tangub.

Police refused to identify the minors.

Based on investigations carried out by police, the five allegedly broke into a home owned by Christine Villanueva and took several pieces of scrap metal, among other items.

Cops recovered the stolen items, which include a refrigerator conduction meter, steel folding bed, plastic hairs, and assorted scrap metal.
