A last minute goal from Dexter Benecio salvaged a 2-2 goal for the University of Santo Tomas (UST) against National University (NU) in their UAAP Season 81 men’s football match last Sunday at the Far Eastern University-Diliman (FEU-Diliman) pitch.

Marcel Ouano opened the match with an early brace, scoring in the 15th and 19th minute for NU. His effort was shortly followed by Conrado Dimacali pulling one back for UST.

NU held on to the lead until Benecio found the back of the net off a scramble at goal deep into stoppage time.

In other UAAP matches, Mohammad Almohjili scored the lone goal in De La Salle University’s 1-0 win over Adamson University; while FEU drew Ateneo de Manila University, 1-1./ASC, WDJ
