Ferrer backs Marañon, Lacson endorsements

Former Negros Occidental fourth district Rep. Jeffrey Ferrer, who is currently running unopposed for Negros Occidental vice governor, said he is backing the senatorial candidates both Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon, Jr. and incumbent Vice Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson are endorsing.

The candidate said he would follow the same criteria in making endorsements as Lacson, who said he would be supporting candidates based on where they are from, specifically, Negrense candidates.

Ferrer added, the United Negros Alliance has yet to compile a final list of senatorial candidates to endorse for the May 13 midterm elections./DGB, WDJ
