Around P300,000 worth of suspected shabu was recently confiscated after Police Station 2 (PS2) anti-drug operatives issued a search warrant on a suspected drug personality at Purok Lubi, in Bacolod City’s Barangay 3.

Police identified the primary target as Wilmar Fuentebella, a resident of the said area.

After it was discovered Fuentebella was not home, authorities arrested Ledenia Malde, who was in the suspect’s home at the time of the raid.

PS2 commander, Police Captain Leo Estopa, said the warrant against Fuentebella was issued last February 15 by Judge Estefanio Libutan, Jr.

The search yielded 25 sachets of suspected shabu, a small bag, coin purse, digital weighing scale, drug paraphernalia, and P8,000 in suspected drug money.

Estopa said the recovered drugs weighed a total of 25 grams.

Malde is presently detained at PS2 on drug-related charges./DGB, WDJ
