The University of the East (UE) defeated Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU), 1-0, last Thursday in the 81st UAAP men’s senior football season at the Moro Lorenzo Field, which is located at AdMU.

Joshua Polinag scored the match’s lone goal early in the match off a header. While AdMU’s Luca Alleje tried to score a late equalizer, the attempt was saved by UE goalkeeper Frank Rieza.
