The Bacolod City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO) plans to acquire 30 more closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras this year.
CDRRMO cluster head, Executive Assistant Joemarie Vargas, said the 30 CCTV cameras will be installed across the city.
Currently, he said the 39 existing CCTV cameras are fully-functional and being used for traffic and crime monitoring.
Vargas added, among the areas they plan to install the new CCTV cameras will be schools, markets, and the territorial boundaries of the city./DGB, WDJ
