Central Negros Electric Cooperative Inc. (Ceneco) and Energreen/Central Negros Power Reliability Inc. (CENPRI) were recently recognized among the top taxpayers in Bago City during the city’s Charter Anniversary celebrations.
“We are very happy to have located the power plant in a very supportive city,” said CENPRI General Manager Mila Arana. “They are very helpful in providing us the needed permits and approvals.”
“We are planning to expand our power generating facilities in Bago City and look forward to contributing to the growth of the city for many years,” she added.
The power firm has a 30-Megawatt power plant in the city’s Barangay Calumangan, which serves as a peak and reserve power provider for Ceneco.
Also recognized during the event were Distileria Bago Inc., Philippine Beverage Inc., Donato C. Cruz Trading, Yusay Realty Development, and 15 other corporations and individual taxpayers./DGB, WDJ
