Mark Nonoy of La Carlota City made his presence known in the University of Santo Tomas’ 94-70 victory over Emilio Aguinaldo College in the ongoing 2019 PBA D-League last Monday at Paco Arena in Manila.
The Negrense scored 15 points, and made five rebounds, two assists, and one steal for UST. Meanwhile, teammates Soulemane Chabi Yo landed 19 points, 11 rebounds, and two blocks; while Rhanz Abando chipped in 17 points, nine boards, two dimes.
Abando led UST to blazing 10-0 start, which set the tone for the game. They went on to lead by as much as 33, opening up a 75-42 advantage late in the third courtesy of Germy Mahinay’s free throws./ASC, WDJ
