University of Santo Tomas (UST) guard Mark Nonoy, who has played for the school in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), is set to suit up for the team in the 2019 PBA D-League.

“Bago lang ako nakalaro sa UAAP, pero binibigyan lang ng [UST junior basketball team coach Bonnie Garcia] ng confidence sa sarili ko (I am new to the UAAP, but the coach gave me confidence in myself),” said the La Carlota City native. “Excited na excited na ako na makasama yung magagaling at makalaban ko na yung magagaling din (I am very excited to join talented players and compete against good players as well).”

At 18 years old, Nonoy is the youngest to ever play in the D-League.
