The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has begun its reshuffling of elections supervisors in preparation for the May 2019 midterm elections.

Bacolod City elections supervisor, Atty. Mavil Majarucon-Sia will be reassigned to Iloilo City and will be replaced by Atty. Ann Janette Lamban, who previously served as elections officer for Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

Meanwhile, former Comelec-Iloilo supervisor Reinier Layson was assigned to Lapu-Lapu City.

In a radio interview over the weekend, Majarucon-Sia confirmed the reshuffling order was received last week but she requested an extension in order to complete several activities./DGB, WDJ
