Negros Occidental track and field coach calls Iloilo their biggest threat

The Negros Occidental track and field coach recently named Iloilo their “biggest threat” in the 2019 Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association (WVRAA) meet, which opened over the weekend at the Villareal Stadium in Roxas City, Capiz.

“In athletics, the rivalry is always between Iloilo and Negros Occidental,” affirmed Negros Occidental track and field head coach Adriana Arca. “We are determined to win the gold medal for the province and represent the region in the Palarong Pambansa.”

This year’s team is mostly comprised of Romanito Maravilla National High School students, but there are also representatives from Bacolod Tay Tung High School./ASC, WDJ
