The council representing Ganghwa County, a part of Incheon, South Korea, was in Iloilo City last week seeking fruit pickers.

During a courtesy visit to City Hall, where they met with Iloilo City Mayor Jose Espinosa III, they said qualified workers must be at least 27 years old and able to speak Korean.

“This is a great opportunity,” the mayor said. “Ilonggos are intelligent, always prepared, and efficient employees.”

A memorandum of understanding signing has yet to be scheduled./WDJ
