Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia will officiate a mass wedding on Sunday at the Bacolod City Government Center grounds, where 200 couples are expected to exchange vows.

The mayor said the event is intended to establish and stabilize families, noting, “If our families are strong, the city of Bacolod becomes strong, too.”

The ceremony will be witnessed by various city officials, Negros Occidental Philippine Statistics Authority head Luis Gonzales, and Bacolod City Civil Registrar Hermilo Pa-oyon./DGB, WDJ
