Classmates recently gathered in San Enrique to reunite and enjoy a variety of eats such as fresh charbroiled fish, grilled squid, crabs and shrimp, pork dishes, and other delicacies. Meanwhile, Mary Jane Tajonera-Claydon treated those close to her to a luncheon. They exchanged pleasantries surrounded by the greenery of her home.

All graduates of the nursing field, some were on special tasks, others went into business with their husbands, and there were also those who became housewives and nurtured their families.

Tajonera-Claydon has worked in Thailand, Saudi Arabia, and the United Kingdom. While it was not an easy life, one that dealt with great sacrifice, she believes life must go on.

The group shared many laughs and reminisced about school life./WDJ
