The Negros Occidental chapter of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) recently put out a statement denouncing the supposed list linking Negros-based broadcasters with illegal drugs.
According to the group, the lists lack “credibility” and “veracity of information.”
They also echoed statements by other local media organizations saying the lists are “plagued with inconsistencies.”
Members of local media in Negros Occidental earlier issued a joint statement also denouncing the “malicious drug list” circulating on social media, which named at least 15 media personalities.
They accused those who crafted the list of muddling their tracks by “including random names.”/WDJ
