Four Negros Occidental-based teams will be competing in the 16th Iloilo Paraw Regatta National Women’s Beach Volleyball Tournament, which is scheduled to take place this weekend, from February 16 to 17, at the Joe III Garden in Iloilo City’s Arevalo district.

Among the participating teams include University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos Team A (UNO-R Team A), comprised of Alexa Polidario and Erjane Magdato; UNO-R Team B featuring Jessalen Moises and Jennymar Serares; St. John’s Institute with Lorien Gamboa and Ruby Casiple; and Margie Senas and Bianca Lizares competing as Smash Bacolod.

According to Moises Salomon of the Iloilo City Sports Development Division, a total of 10 teams are expected to compete in the tournament.
