Ricardo Sueno, Jr. of Sagay City recently captured the World Boxing Council-Asian Boxing Council continental flyweight title after defeating Diomel Dioces via unanimous decision at the Flash Grand Ballroom, located at the Elorde Sports Complex in Parañaque City.

The Negrense boxer was aggressive from the start, pummeling Dioces with punching, including a huge left straight. His opponent tried to turn things around in the second half of the bout but Sueno regained his dominance and counterpunched enough to secure a favorable score.

The victory, his sixth consecutive win since 2016, earned the Sagay City native a 9-2-4 win-loss-draw record./ASC, WDJ
