The 2nd My City, My SM, My Art exhibit, which celebrates Philippine visual arts, is scheduled to open today at SM City Iloilo and will feature artists from across the Western Visayas.

“Art can strengthen the tourism industry,” said Department of Tourism-Region VI director, Atty. Helen J. Catalbas. “Promoting tourism through arts can lead to economic development by drawing people’s interest towards the culture of the region, as well as invigorating skills and talents of our local artists.”

The artists expected to be featured during the event include Antipas Delotavo, Alan Cabalfin, Momo Dalisay, Anna India Legaspi, Andrew Gritzka, Alberto Emmanuel Villavert III, Alvin Bueno, Jr., Lino Villaruz, Robert Vargas, and Edmar Colmo.

The exhibit runs until next Wednesday, February 20./WDJ
