A man was killed yesterday after crashing into a tree near the Father Gratian Murray Boys Home in Barangay Granada, Bacolod City.
Police identified the fatality as 30-year-old Dix Ion Ridge Villa, a resident of Purok Star Apolan in the said city’s Barangay Alangilan.
Police Station 5 commander, Police Senior Inspector Romulo Gepilango IV, said Villa was heading home when he slammed into a tree.
The force of the impact mangled the sedan’s front and back, while the car’s engines was thrown almost 10 meters.
Villa was rushed to a private hospital in the city but was declared dead on arrival./DGB, W
