At least P240,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized following a recent drug raid in Barangay Mambulac, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified the suspect as 41-year-old Raffy Gonzaga, a resident of the said area.
Silay City police chief, Police Superintendent Noel Polines, said Gonzaga is on the station’s list of drug targets and was the subject of a search warrant issued by Executive Judge Ana Celeste Bernad of the Silay City Regional Trial Court-Branch 69.
A search of the suspect and his home yielded 22 sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, a mobile phone, an empty .45 caliber shell, and ammunition for an unidentified caliber firearm.
Gonzaga faces charges in violation of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and is detained at the Silay City Police Station./DGB, WDJ
