Bacolodnon libero Hannah Infante is set to make her collegiate debut with Adamson University, next weekend, February 16, in the 81st UAAP women’s volleyball season at the San Juan Arena.
“It feels great to be lined up for UAAP,” she said. “All [the] hard work and [effort] I put in during our practices since [committing] to the team have finally paid off.”
“Since the season is just about to start, I need to work even harder and show [Adamson University head coach Airess Padda] that she was right in including me in the lineup,” the former St. John’s Institute standout added.
Infante joined the squad after trying out in Iloilo City back in 2017.
“Aside from her versatility, what we liked about Hannah is her vocal leadership,” said Adamson University team manager Russell Balbacal. “She’s usually the loudest player on the court and communicates well with her teammates.”
The Bacolod City native is joined by fellow Negrense, team captain Christine Joy Soyud, who is originally from La Carlota City./ASC, WDJ
