BCPO: No ‘untoward

incidents’ recorded

The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) yesterday called this year’s Bacolaodiat Festival a success.

BCPO officer-in-charge, Police Senior Superintendent Henry Biñas, said there were no untoward incidents recorded during the four-day celebration.

Biñas thanked city officials and the public for their cooperation in keeping the festival safe.

With festivities concluded, Biñas confirmed the augmented personnel sent by the Police Regional Office-6 have returned to their headquarters in Iloilo.

Around 1,400 law enforcement personnel were deployed as part of security for this year’s festival, including anti-crime and rescue volunteer groups./DGB, WDJ
