P8.5M earmarked for Sagay City road concreting projects

 

Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon, Jr. recently turned over P15.3 million to fund infrastructure projects in Sagay City, Murcia, La Castellana, and Binalbagan.

The funding is intended to finance a variety of projects including road repair and concreting, drainage system improvements, water tank construction, fence installation, mini-market construction, multi-purpose building construction, streetlight installation, canal rehabilitation, among others.

Notably, Sagay City Barangays Sewahon I, Rafaela Barrera, Puey, Malubon, Molocaboc, and Baviera each received P1 million for concreting projects. Meanwhile, Barangay Plaridel, also in Sagay City, received P2.5 million for a road concreting project.

In addition, the city’s Barangay General Luna received P1 million for the rehabilitation of a multi-purpose building./WDJ
