Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia attended “Rehabinasyon: The 1st National Anti-Drugs Summit” at the Marco Polo Hotel in Davao City, which ended yesterday.
“This is a rare opportunity to provide, [for] us in Bacolod City, a holistic picture of the drug rehabilitation program of the [President Rodrigo Duterte] administration,” he said. “The leading anti-illegal drug agencies have organized this to make a more comprehensive approach in their intention to rehabilitate and reintegrate the victims back to society.”
The event, dubbed “#RealStories Night,” included appearances by actors Jiro Manio, Jobert Austria, and JM de Guzman; rehabilitation and reformation center graduates; along with a look at the Balay Silangan, the government-run shelters for drug offenders.
