Former NBA player Lamar Odom will spearhead Mighty Sports-Philippines in the 30th Dubai International Basketball Championship, which starts tonight in the United Arab Emirates.
Odom, a former Los Angeles Lakers star, will be one of the three reinforcements for the Philippine squad, alongside Randolph Morris and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Kings import Justin Brownlee.
Also making the team are UAAP standouts Juan Gomez de Liaño of the University of the Philippines, Troy Rike of National University, and Leonard Santillan of De La Salle University.
Completing the Charles Tiu-mentored team are Jason Brickman, Jett Manuel, Jeremiah Gray, Angelo Wongchuking, Roosevelt Adams, and PBA D-League Finals MVP Gabriel Banal.
The Philippines begins its campaign against American University tonight, the UAE National Team on Saturday, Homenetmen (Lebanon) on Sunday, and Al Wahda (Syria) on February 5./ASC, WDJ
