Ahead of the 2019 AFC Cup and 2019 Philippine Premier League, both of which kick off this month, Kaya FC-Iloilo has lost five veteran players, with the latest departures being striker Robert Lopez Mendy and midfielder Kenshiro Daniels.

The club announced their exits through a statement on their website.

Prior to Lopez Mendy and Daniels, midfielder Miguel Tanton transferred to Ceres-Negros FC, goalkeeper Ref Cuaresma was elevated to coaching staff, and midfielder Antonio Ugarte reportedly sought new opportunities in Panama.

“The service of these players has been massive in the club’s success and development over the years,” Kaya FC said in their statement. “Kaya FC as a whole wish to extend our gratitude and appreciation for their contribution.”/ASC, WDJ
