Two brothers were arrested Wednesday night following a buy-bust operation at Purok Bakyas Laurel in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City.

Police identified the suspects as Joelan and Jonel Benjamin, both residents of the said area.

Police Station 7 (PS7) commander, Police Chief Inspector Sherlock Gabana, said they arrested the two after they sold one sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer.

A subsequent search yielded a total three sachets of suspected shabu and two disposable lighters.

The market value of the seized illicit substances is P5,000.

The brothers face illegal drugs charges and are detained at PS7./DGB, WDJ
