The Kuris International Theater Festival will be taking place across Bacolod City from February 20 to 23.

The event, which seeks to educate and train young writers and playwrights, will be holding a series of workshops and performances at the University of Saint La Salle, Colegio San Agustin, Negros Museum, the John Paul 2 Cultural Center at the Sacred Heart Seminary, and the Orange Project at the Art District.

“Kuris became an annual event for young artists to share and showcase their works in celebration of their passion for theatre,” explained Tanya Lopez, one of the festival’s founding members./WDJ
