Defender Álvaro Silva has officially joined Ceres-Negros FC.

“Very happy to announce my signing with Ceres,” he said on social media.

Silva began his career with La Liga club Málaga CF, playing for their youth team and joining both their B team and first team.

He most recently played with Malaysia Super League club Kedah FA, where they finished sixth in the league last season.

The defender is the latest signing by the Bacolod City-based club following Miguel Tanton, Dylan De Bruycker, Dennis Villanueva, and Angelo Marasigan./ASC, WDJ
