Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU) won the Philippine Collegiate Champions League last Monday after defeating the University of Visayas, 95-71, at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

George Isaac Go led the win with 15 points, while BJ Andrade added 13, along with Ilonggo Ferdinand ‘Thirdy’ Ravena III and RJ Berjay each scorning 12.

“These guys have achieved a lot,” said AdMU head coach Thomas Baldwin.

AdMU immediately showed its dominance in the opening quarter, surging to a 19-8 advantage behind Go, Berjay, Andrade, and Bacolodnon guard Samjosef Belangel. Their opponents tried making it a close contest early in the second period but the eventual winners were too much and quickly pulled away to build its largest lead of 84-51 in the fourth period./ASC, WDJ
