‘Security guards’ nabbed in Bacolod City for carrying firearms

Two purported security guards were arrested Saturday after they were caught carrying firearms in Barangay Felisa, Bacolod City.
Police identified the suspects as 36-year-old Ronel Mendoza, a resident of Barangay Mansilingan; and 27-year-old Jacob Dalaguit, a resident of Purok Mambahin in Barangay Cabug.
Police Station 10 (PS10) commander, Police Senior Inspector Armilyn Vargas, said they recovered a .45 caliber pistol, .25 caliber Ingram sub-machine gun, 9mm homemade revolver, several magazines, and live ammunition for different caliber firearms.
Both suspects face illegal possession of firearms charges and violations of the Commission on Elections gun ban./DGB, WDJ
