Delgado monument unveiled

The Megaworld Corporation honored Spanish sculptor Gines Serran-Pagan during the recent inauguration of the General Martin Delgado statue, which stands across from the Casa De Emperador in Iloilo City.

The 8.8-meter bronze statue depicts the greatest Visayan ‘revolucionario,’ General Martin Delgado.

It took nearly a month to transport the statue to the Philippines from China, where the sculpture was created. (Photos by Toots Jimenez, Jr.)/WDJ
