At least P24,000 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated Tuesday morning following a buy-bust operation at Purok Lampirong in Barangay 2, Bacolod City.

Police identified the arrested drug suspect as Chargen Estrella, a resident of the said area.

Police Station 2 (PS2) commander, Police Senior Inspector Leo Estopa, said they recovered a total five sachets of suspected shabu, coin purse, and the P200 marked-money used in the operation.

Estrella faces charges related to violations of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

He is presently detained at PS2./DGB, WDJ
