Bolick drops 26 points

Robert Bolick made a triumphant professional debut as NorthPort Batang Pier cruised to a lopsided 117-91 win over Blackwater Elite in the 2019 Honda PBA Philippine Cup last night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Bolick, the third overall pick during the recent PBA Rookie Draft, led the team with 26 points.
Juan Paolo Taha also made his presence felt, finishing with 21 points for Batang Pier, followed by Sean Anthony adding 16 and Stanley Pringle scoring 16.
Bolick made an immediate impact for the Batang Pier with 10 early points, resulting in a 15-10 lead. The Elite went on to turn things around and built a 38-26 lead; however, Anthony and Pringle carried the load for the team, bringing Batang Pier to a 55-48 halftime advantage.
The rookie then spearheaded the second half attack with consecutive baskets, followed by contributions from Pringle, Anthony, and Taha for their largest lead of 29 points.
