Mark Nonoy of La Carlota City tallied his second triple-double of the season, helping put the University of Santo Tomas (UST) over the University of the East (UE), 85-63, in UAAP Season 81 juniors basketball last Sunday at the San Juan Arena.

The Negrense player finished the game with 27 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists. Notably, it was within the first 20 minutes of that game where Nonoy scored 20 points, made five rebounds, and offered five assists.

“I am trying to improve my game more,” he said. “I will just do my best to help UST win more games.”

Meanwhile, for UE, Shane Dichoso of Himamaylan City led scoring with 21 points, while Bacolodnon Jared Tajonera added 14 and Ilonggo Jesse Sullano contributed 12./ASC, WDJ
