Six teams are expected to compete in the 1st Negros Federation of Volleyball Enthusiasts Inc. (NEFVEI) Chinese New Year Women’s Open Volleyball Tournament, which is set to take place from February 2 to 4 at the Montalbo Residence in Bacolod City.

“So far, we have two teams who have confirmed their participation,” said Biboy Calamba of NEFVEI. “We are hoping for four more teams to complete the lineup.”

Both Bacolod Tay Tung High School and Colegio de San Agustin-Bacolod will be taking part in the competition.

The winning team will take home P10,000 and a trophy, while second and third place each win P5,000 and P2,000, respectively./ASC, WDJ
