A 2.0-magnitude earthquake struck west of Cadiz City yesterday morning around 8:00 a.m.
According to a Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology bulletin, there was no reported damage as a result of the quake nor were there any anticipated aftershocks.
Earthquakes ranging between 1.0 and 3.0 in magnitude are often classified as a Level 1 on the Mercalli Intensity Scale, where the tremor almost goes undetected./WDJ
