The Department of Tourism-Region VI (DOT-6) visited Capiz earlier this week to hold discussions and conduct inspections of tourism-oriented and tourism-related establishments in the province.

A provincial tourism officers meeting was held at the New Tourism Information Center and Specialty Shop, located at the Capiz Provincial Park in Roxas City, where Tourism Operations Officer II Artemio Ticar discussed the benefits of DOT accreditation, processing fees, and required documentation.

Among the locations subjected to inspection included El Circulo Travel and Tour, Oriental Restaurant, Altacosta Beach Hotel, Nanay Lording Novelty Shop, Alunsina Hotel, Verdant Farm, Gecalde’s Farm, FHW Dormitel, and FHW Spa.

Inspections were also conducted on the meeting venue./WDJ
