A blessing for the newly-constructed Dinagyang Grandstand, located along Muelle Loney Street and facing the Iloilo River, is expected to take place tomorrow, January 11, beginning at 8:30 a.m.

The Iloilo Dinagyang Festival 2019 will be holding opening events at the venue on the same day, along with the first Ilonggo Youth Music Festival, set to commence at 6:00 p.m.

The facility, which sits on 2,600 square meters and projected to have a seating capacity of nearly 2,000, is expected to host the Dinagyang Festival’s Kasadyahan contest on January 26 and the Ati-Ati tribes competition on January 27.

The new facility is also expected to include a multi-purpose building, which will house some city government offices./WDJ
