Over 800 food kiosks expected

The 2019 Iloilo Dinagyang Festival, with highlights scheduled to run from January 25 to 27, is expecting 880 kiosks selling food and refreshments during the annual celebration.

“We already marked the areas where these kiosks will be put up and we will provide them with electricity,” said Iloilo Dinagyang Foundation Inc. kiosk-in-charge Joeffrey Agilles.

The 2.5×3-meter kiosks, which each cost P2,200, will be situated at Valeria-Delgado Streets and along Iznart Street, Bonifacio Drive, and Ledesma Street.

“Kiosk owners need to secure their health card, which will be presented during the inspection of our personnel in order to ensure that the food they sell are clean and safe,” he added./WDJ
