Travel company Agoda recently polled Filipinos of various ages on what they would include on their bucket list for 2019 and among the top choices included “digital detox,” which pertains to refraining from the use of various electronic devices like mobile phones, and going on a retreat.

Females between the ages of 30 and 49, along with males above the age of 50, predominantly went with digital detox; while males aged between 30 and 49 expressed a desire to go on retreat.

Learning a new language and trying a new sport were also popular choices.

Last year, Agoda named two hotels in Dumaguete City and two in Boracay among their Agoda Gold Circle Award recipients./WDJ
