The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) is set to build their own firing range within their headquarters in the city’s Barangay Taculing.

BCPO director, Police Senior Superintendent Francisco Ebreo, said they have around P200,000 in funds, which would be used in constructing the firing range.

The said funds were taken from their recent “shoot fest” competition.

Ebreo said the aim of the project is to improve the shooting skills, and the use of firearms for the police.

He added, an individual has already stepped forward and offered help in constructing the firing range.

Ebreo said he would also seek the help of Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia, Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran, and lone district Congressman Greg Gasataya for additional funds to be used for the project./DGB, WDJ
