With the Commission on Elections (Comelec) set to commence a routine reshuffling of personnel between this month and March, Bacolod City-Comelec elections supervisor, Atty. Mavil Majarucon-Sia, said she is prepared if required to move elsewhere.

She said reshuffling is temporary and after the election period, which runs from January 13 to June 12, officers will return to their initial posts.

The Comelec official said the city currently does not have any major problems in terms of elections and reminded the public of the gun ban that coincides with the election period.

Majarucon-Sia also noted, as of their latest update, there are a total of 312,000 registered voters in Bacolod City./DGB, WDJ
