Snake knocks out power in Panay, Guimaras

Around 90 percent of Panay was without power yesterday for several hours due to a “snake intrusion.”
According to National Grid Corporation of the Philippines Regional Corporate Communications and Public Affairs Officer Michelle Vicera, a snake entered the substation at Dingle, Iloilo, which affected Dingle-Barotac Viejo lines.
Just after midnight, power disruptions were reported in Iloilo, Capiz, Aklan, Antique, and Guimaras.
Power was completely restored by 8:07 that morning./WDJ
