The Negros Occidental Office of the Governor, in partnership with the Lopue’s Table Tennis Association (LOPTTA), closed 2018 with the 4th Governor’s Cup Invitational Table Tennis Championship, which took place last week at the SM City Bacolod main atrium.

The event attracted over 220 players from across the region, along with players from Tacloban City, Metro Manila, and Japan.

The competition was divided into eight divisions with Dirk Nikhole Atilano winning the 13 and Under Boys competition, Alfranzen Arisco taking the 13 and Under Girls category, Frances Elaine Arguelles – Women’s Event, John Michael Castro – Men’s Event, Ervin Bomban – Men’s Executive Event, Ruby Ann Longno – Women’s e Event A, Marichu Claver – Women’s Executive Event B, and Robert Arteche – Veterans./WDJ
