Bulalacao: Two stray bullet incidents in Iloilo

Police Regional Office-6 (PRO-6) director, Police Chief Superintendent John Bulalacao, recently reported an end of the year decline in “focused crimes,” which includes murder, homicide, physical injury, rape, robbery, theft, carnapping, and motorcycle theft.

According to police data, between December 16 and the end of 2018, there was an 18.69 percent decline in the crime rate as compared to the same period last year.

Of the total 289 reported incidents, physical injuries comprised a majority of the cases.

Meanwhile, Bulalacao called this year’s New Year’s Eve celebrations “generally peaceful,” despite two stray bullet incidents in Iloilo, one in Janiuay and another in Maasin, with the latter involving a 15 year old who was struck in the back./WDJ
