The Bacolod City Water District (Baciwa) and the Murcia Water District (MWD) recently signed a short-term bulk water supply agreement.

In the agreement, MWD will supply Baciwa with a minimum 2.5 millions liters per day, or 2,500 cubic meters per day, at a cost of P12 per cubic meter.

Baciwa chairman, Atty. Lorendo K. Dilag, and MWD Chairman Alfredo Amada signed a cooperation agreement, while Baciwa general manager, Atty. Juliana B. Carbon, and MWD General Manager Winston Makilan signed the memorandum of agreement./WDJ
